Artist's Bungalow
Remodel

A quaint bungalow in Oconomowoc, WI with loads of charm underwent a front porch remodel to insulate the space and upgrade it into a four seasons room. We love that it increased the yearly living square-footage! It is the brightest space in the house with three full walls of windows, letting in so much natural light. We wanted to embellish the existing charm of the house by adding vertical slat boards on the exterior walls. We also were able to keep the beautiful, original, ceiling boards intact as we refreshed the entire space with a "creamy-cottage" white paint color. The powdery-blue painted floors keep the space playful and touch on the artist's colorful style as shown in a few custom pieces throughout the space. It is the perfect spot to snuggle up next to the electric fireplace and read a book or take a cozy afternoon nap.​​
